Help support Getting to Grips with LaTeX tutorials

Please show your support for the GTGWL tutorials by making a donation.

I started these tutorials in 2004 to give new users a gentle guide to the LaTeX system. My own experience had been a tad frustrating and so I wanted to create a resource which I wish I could have used when I was learning. Since then the site has grown in popularity: I get over 750,000 visitors every year requesting almost 1.2 million pageviews. I'm flattered that so many people have found this resource so useful, and thanks to everyone who has written to express their gratitude.

After five years since these tutorials appeared, I am appealing those who find the site useful whether they would consider supporting my work by way of a small donation to help in the following ways:

  1. Assist towards the hosting costs to keep the site freely available to all that need it.
  2. To contribute towards new content creation; improving existing tutorials; adding new examples, etc.
  3. Work towards designing and implementing a more modern site.

It has been a pleasure to create and contribute something that many people have found to be valuable. I hope readers will show their appreciation to allow this site to improve and expand into the future.

Many thanks,
Andrew Roberts
